Evaluating Information

How do you know if you've found the right information, or if you have enough information?

Examine your sources Are there other kinds of sources that might contain information on your topic?
Re-evaluate your topic Do you need to broaden, narrow, or re-focus your topic? Are there gaps in your information or new ideas that need further exploration?
Consult an expert Are there important resources you may have overlooked? Your professor or a librarian may be a good resource!
Amount of Information Are you still finding new information or do new sources repeat what you've already learned? Is it time to stop researching and start writing?

We welcome your feedback
